Ghanaian Music is Not Doing Well Internationally – Joey B

Hiplife artiste Joey B  (the Tonga Crooner) has expressed his disappointment in how poor Ghanaian music is doing on the international scene. The rapper was on XFm weeks ago and made this statement. Among other things he talked about, he said Nigerian songs are even doing better than Ghanaian songs internationally.
According to a report by XFM,
Ghanaian Hip-Life musician, Darryl Paa Kwesi Banner –Martin, popularly known as Joey B, has disclosed his intention of escalating Ghanaian music to the highest peak with his lyrics.

Speaking on the Xpress Breakfast Show with Kwaku David, Joey B stressed how disappointed he is
with the presentation of Ghanaian music on international platforms.
The Hiplife sensation says he believes there are so many lapses in the Ghanaian music industry which needs to be figured and filled up.
According to him Nigerian music is recently dominating more on international platforms than Ghanaian music adding that the situation was different formerly.
“I’m in Europe doing a show and am hearing a Nigerian Artiste in Europe made a bigger show than what I am doing,” said Joey B.
He therefore believes that the sky is the limit as he looks forward to brand Ghanian music on the international scene.
